LOLO GENESIS: birds of all colours....
Just launched today is our new virtual birds. Birds of every and any colour!
They offer many improvements, building off the success of our original LOLO birds.
IMPROVEMENTS:
Improved flight patterns and smoother wing flapping animation.
10 more bird songs for a higher quality ambiance.
Sculpty-prim head and body with tilted wings for a more streamlined, realistic look.
Even easier set up. One touch sets your bird(s) in motion. To reposition, touch again. The bird freezes so you can move it to a new place if need be. Touch again and your bird is off exploring the skies.
Initial take-off animation ensures your birds stay clear of ground while flying -- without need to adjust.
NEW FEATURES:
Copyable. Each bird rezzes unique with its own size and colour. So each is born individual.
Funny surprise happens if people try to sit on the bird. If you play Second Life, you know how people always try to sit on things, especially moving animals.... :)
Birds now sing when touched, in addition to just singing on their own accord.
OTHER NEW GENESIS PACKAGES:
Separately offered is a black bird LOLO GENESIS package. Some people like a darker tone. It is hard to generate many black birds in the all-colours package, since they are mostly all so colourful. Also available is a white bird LOLO GENESIS package. (White isn't a colour, so can't be generated in the all-colour package.)
These birds rez in only colour, but they still rez different sizes -- because animals aren't exact duplicates of each other. This makes a group of virtual animals appear a little more realistic.
Ready to go Jurassic???
You can in Second Life, with The LOLO Pet Shop...
Just like the above graphic says: this is the first animated & realistic brontosaurus in SL, scaled accurately from existing fossil records.
When I began creating this brontosaurus, the first thing I did was looked up scientific illustrations showing humans and dinosaurs together to compare height. I used this method to get the scale correct, taking the measurements from my own avatar. That's me in front of the brontosaurus: waving my arms wildly, hoping to get its attention -- before it crushes me like a bug.
After getting the look just right, I added features to it. It's animated: walking, facial expressions, & tail swinging with scripted flexi motion. I made it free-roaming. It is very large, so I made it only roam a small area.
There are places to sit on the brontosaurus. 5 avatars can sit on its back. 1 avatar can sit up on its head, enjoying the commanding view.
I added HUD control for the owner, so the brontosaurus can be steered around somewhat. You just have to be somewhere in the same region as the brontosaurus to command it this way.
The brontosaurus also sometimes gives out fun bronto-themed gifts when touched: plushie toys, T-shirts, and more....
Oh yeah, you can also make it talk in chat if you like, & you can name your brontosaurus too.
Are you ready to go back in time???
Maybe you read my post a couple days ago about how I made foxes? I also made this cute baby fox that can sit on your shoulder. I think in real life, all foxes are too wild to be pets... or are they? Ever heard of anyone with a pet fox?
Well anyway, in SL you can now have a little pet fox. This one can talk in chat, you can name it. It's got lively animations and sound effects. I even gave it the same special features of my bigger free roaming foxes, so this fox can be magic when touched.... its cool.
Oh yeah, also gives out those riceballs that you can eat too.
Find this little guy at The LOLO here:

It didn't even have a proper railing or anything, so our visitors kept falling off... it was terrible...
So today, I deleted that. We built an elaborate tube walkway that encircles an old baobab tree. At the top is a platform fitted with a docking bay tube that connects to the flying LOLO dome.
Eventually, this structure will also house some of my animals, as I release the new ones. There's no space for more in our other shops!
Come explore our new space :)

Hi, this is WADE1 Jya,
Yesterday I made foxes. Today I took photos of them and made a package design for them, like this:
By the way, I also made that cursive font on the box. Lately, I've been enjoying making fonts sometimes, I think this one is one of my first fonts that's not bad.
Anyway, I made the foxes very easy for their owners to set up.
Just one touch sets them walking, after you place them whereever you want them to roam. Touch again and they stop walking around.
It is best to pick an open area for the foxes, preferably 20 X 20 meters, but 10 X 10 meters is the minimum.
You can name the foxes, and make them talk in chat too! Fun!
If other avatars touch the foxes, they yelp or bark. But sometimes, the foxes will give them a riceball... or do something cool & magical... i won't give away their secret here.
You can see one fox hanging around inworld here:

I hope everyone enjoys the new foxes. Next I am thinking to make a deer maybe, or should I make another animal?
What animals would you like to see in SL?
I made two new felt dresses. One style is baby pink, the other is baby blue. You can enjoy spring colours.
This SLURL takes you directly to my new design:http://slurl.com/secondlife/The%20LOLO/61/229/35
Enjoy!
Just what the second life world needs. More cute little kittens. If you see an earlier post where I created a black kitten, I made several more kinds, loosely based off the CFA (Cat Fancier's Association) officially recognized cat breeds.
The Manx (a cool tuxedo cat):
The Russian Blue:
The Seal Point (Siamese):
The White Kitten (not a cat breed, but we have a white kitten in real life, so had to include):
The Persian Kitten:
The Balinese Kitten:
Lastly, is the Marmalade kitten. A very cute type of calico cat I think, very pretty coat. Not an officially recognized pure breed cat either, but so cute we had to include.
These kittens are all animated. They can meow and purr, even talk in chat, and you can give them a name. Very fun!
