How do we choose the winner?
Random. Unlike many SL "contests", our winners are not selected from an inner circle of friends. The contest is not rigged in anyway. Nobody can cheat to win --- everyone entered always gets an equal chance. One time each month, I grab a list of every avatar around SL who has The LOLO in their profile picks. (At the moment this is about 200 avatars!) Then I enter the total number on www.random.org, which selects one number, any number less or equal to the total. This number I use to pick the one winner. For example, if 19 is picked, and your avatar is 19th on my list (listed by search relevence), YOU WIN! From what the website says, they generate random numbers from atmospheric noise, which is more random than a number picked mechanically! Very cool, I think.
