Today, The LOLO Pet Shop launches the first dog, in a new series of dogs.... The Maltese Dog.
This dog is fully featured. It is animated, and can free-roam, or follow you around.
This dog is pettable, your avatar can animate to pet it nicely.

Sorry there is only one breed of dog at my pet shop so far. I plan to make more dogs. What breed of virtual dog would you like to see created next? I'm thinking maybe a wolf! :)

Ever wonder what is coming next from The LOLO Pet Shop? I'll fill you in. I'm going to start doing "Top Secret" blog posts that will let you know what is under development.... What's coming next..... Finally, after nearly infinite requests, The LOLO is starting to make dogs! I am so sorry for the delay guys, I just wanted to finish a significant portion of the animal kingdom (including even dinosaurs lol) before I got onto creating our canine pals. What can I say, I am a cat person! But I love dogs too, so here we go!
First created will be a small Maltese Dog. So far the progress is I have created a customizable leash and collar that will work with all future LOLO dogs. I am going to try to make interactive toys too, and these dogs will be obedient to many commands. I have him doing much fun stuff already, but we still have to debugging here and stuff like that! Can't release until perfect! So..... coming soon.....

After I finish this dog, many more LOLO dogs will arrive (one by one). I plan to make all breeds, probably a selection of 50+ dogs, all major breeds will be here!

[VIRTUAL PET FIRST AID]
***IMPORTANT SECOND LIFE HEALTH NOTICE***: Recently, I tracked down a third case on the Second Life Grid of a strange feline sickness. Luckily, it is extremely rare to strike. Symptoms include cat displaying a complete lack of appetite. Cats affected refuse to eat for many days, become confused, & eventually run away -- regardless of owner attempts to provide care. Really, it seems there is some sort of virtual virus is out there, since this sickness is not something I programmed into my creation (seriously!).
WHAT IS THE COST TO ME AS PET OWNER? No cost. Anybody who currently owns a LOLO CAT SERIES 4 can be given this First Aid upgrade. LOLO CAT SERIES 4 upgrades are absolutely & always free to you!
WILL THIS AFFECT MY CAT? Unlikely, but it could happen! Prevention is key, and The LOLO Pet Shop is ready to help you if you are at all worried. Risk Assessment: less than 1 in 100 cats are affected. If your cat has recently been around an affected cat, it could be at greater risk! I am not sure yet if this virus is contagious.
WHAT CAN I DO TO ENSURE MY CAT DOESN'T GET SICK? Send a notecard or IM to myself, Dr. WADE1 Jya. I can attend to your cat, giving you this free First Aid upgrade. The LOLO is proud to provide you with home veterinarian care service. Your cat may someday still get sick, but after the upgrade is applied, you as owner can apply first aid to your cat. Effective protection for if your cat ever does get sick.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY CAT DISPLAYS THE DESCRIBED SYMPTOM? Send a notecard or IM to myself, Dr. WADE1 Jya. It's not too late! Even if your cat is sick, I can still help you, but we might have to act quickly so that your cat doesn't run away....
WILL THERE BE MORE UPGRADES IN FUTURE? I think no more health upgrades will be needed, as this first aid feature should be 100% effective, killing all possible viruses, while curing against any variety of ills that might strike your cat. That is why I call this cure I invented a "magic potion"! However, I am thinking to add a general care upgrade to this cat in future. This future upgrade will make caring for, playing with, and feeding your cat less chat-based and more dynamically interactive. When this upgrade is rolled out, this too will be announced too on my blog, & will also be free to all SERIES FOUR LOLO CAT owners who request such.

Our raptor breeding program was a smashing success here & now all these baby raptors have shown up. They need good homes & kind loving owners!
These baby raptors are my newest shoulder pet. They are happy to go with you as you explore SL, & can ride on your shoulder anywhere you go. A raptor is a most exotic pet, sure to impress.
These raptors are all animated: snapping jaws, flexi tail, eyes look around and blink, tearing claws.

Okay, I got excited & just had to finish up this one last creation I've been working on, before sleeping tonight. I officially have insomnia I think lately, lol!
A cute shoulder pet version of my new peacocks. I thought, hey, people without any access to land should be able to enjoy my creations too, so why not a baby peacock?
I gave this little one completely different features than my larger free-roaming peacocks. You can see a little more about my baby peacock's features here on Xstreet.

I have just updated my LOLO cat avatars in Second Life. It now has a much improved & smooth AO. My old version of quadruped cat avatars had over time developed a glitch which would sometimes cause your human form to reappear.
Yikes!
This kind of ruins the fun of being a cute little cat right? Now problem is solved, making it possible to enjoy SL as a little cat again. The new AO improves all animations of this cat giving you a lot more versatility with this av than the previous version.
Anybody with the previous version of LOLO cat avatars I am offering you all free upgrades, just IM me inworld if you need this, I will update you FREE. :)
Same as before, this new version comes with a HUD allowing you lots of custom feline animations, all at the touch of a button. There is HUD control to do dances, take a catnap, do frontflips & backflips. Don't think because you are a tiny little actual size cat, you have to give up having high quality animations you are used to as a human. Now you can even rez your own cat toys to play with, and if you need to do a #2, there is even a button for that! Now if you can only find a litter box....

I am happy to announce I've contained the raptor threat at The LOLO Island. Looks like all the little animals (and my lovely visitors) are all safe once again! It's such a relief. All the raptors have been captured, safely contained & are now available as SL pets to buy from my shop (for the more adventurous Second Life animal connoisseur!).
The diversity of animal life on The LOLO Island keeps expanding! Yesterday, I discovered peacocks living on our island. There is two distinct species here, a blueish-green one, & also a pure white one.
They are beautiful birds that just roam around peacefully. They display their tails from time to time, showing off how pretty they are.
Pretty huh! :)
You can get peacocks (copyable) for your own land, at The Upper Level of The LOLO Pet Shop.
Next, I am working on some small dogs, and possibly hummingbirds, so you should see more creations here soon.

SCIENTIFIC BRIEF (NATURE NEWS FROM LOLO ISLAND):
A scary new animal has been sighted around The LOLO Island. A pack of velociraptors was recently discovered living in the dense vegetation undergrowth by The LOLO River Canyon. It is suspected they have been living here since earlier this year, since this explains why a few of our smaller animals have gone mysteriously "missing" of late!
I've put out some caution signs to warn visitors about these vicious animals! Beware, they are strategic intelligent hunters, and very bold & aggressive -- in fact, they might attack anything that moves, even humans!
Clever WADE1 Jya bravely captured some of these raptors, & domesticated them (somewhat) into a (slightly) less aggressive nature. These raptors are now available at The LOLO Pet Shop. Six breeds, all brilliantly colored, have been safely(?) domesticated thus far.
Though a little unpredictable, rumor has it that a velociraptor can be a wonderful & loving pet (ed;. I personally doubt this!). At very least, they are likely quite ideal for adding a little more security to your property!
The great thing about them I guess, is their high intelligence. Apparently, they can even follow some basic commands, as I've discovered here.

Rainbows are here! Now you can easily make big, beautiful, colorful rainbows appear in SL, with this new kit from The LOLO.
It is easy to use. You just place your two "seeds" at the ends where you want your rainbow to begin & end. After a few seconds your rainbow will appear, spanning between the two points you chose.
Best of all, the rainbow seeds are copyable, so you're not limited to just one. Have fun with many rainbows!
